Running hot
« on: January 22, 2016, 07:27:05 AM »
Well my Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX all-in-one liquid CPU cooler showed up today. Here lately my CPU had been running around 125f to 140f. This thing is now just idling and keeping the CPU around 88f ( 31c).

I popped the fan off the old air CPU cooler and the fins underneath where clogged solid. I also had one of my video cards running hot so I took the old CPU cooler fan and screwed it on top of the video cards heat sink with 1 1/4" Kreg screws. Now everything is running real cool.

I hated to spend the money on the H100i GTX but I had to do something to cool my computer down and man does it work. The best deal I could find was at Newegg.
Anyway, now I can make videos again.
